Hi, I'm David Ilouz.
I'm a strategist and researcher with a passion for using data and storytelling to advocate for human rights, responsible governance, and social justice. My work spans community organizing, language and politics research, and data‑driven insights for clients across sectors. I study Data Analytics and Policy at Johns Hopkins University while continuing to support grassroots initiatives like Houston Youth Activists.

M.S. in Data Analytics & Policy, Johns Hopkins University
Pursuing a master's degree with a concentration in statistical analysis, including a capstone project using machine learning to predict legal case outcomes; graduation expected May 2026.

Created an online tool to help Texas college students decide where their vote holds the most influence during the pandemic era (links forthcoming).
Houstonians for Migrant Justice
Organized advocacy and community engagement efforts to support migrant rights in collaboration with local organizations.
Houston Youth Walkout
Coordinated a citywide student walkout advocating for gun violence prevention; delivered a speech and engaged media outlets across Houston.
